Rundes Bier, gut! 7/12/13/12/12/12

Bottle. Deep brown body with a frothy, beige head, mostly diminishing. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, vanilla, plums. Very much like a roasty Greene King Olde Suffolk. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture turning oily, lively carbonation. Disappointing taste: Light sourness and smelly feet are unappealing.

Very dark brown beer with a medium and beige head. Aroma is nicely complex, roastiness, chocolate, sweetness and some fruityness. Taste is roasted, hint of spicys, some lemon. Quite light to drink, with nice carbonation. Nice, complex and good beer; easy to enjoy, worth to try.

50cl bottle. Poured dark brown color with a thin beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and slight bitterness. Flavor is similar, coffee, milk chocolate and roasted malt. Finish is dry and bitter. Quite nice, but too thin to be really enjoyable.

Oily looking dark beer. Zesty start followed by bags of malt. Some chocolate notes leading to some smokyness.

Chestnut brown; maybe a bit of haze. Chewy, toffee, peanutty - rich, very attractive aroma. Toffee-molasses palate with light raisins and vague toast. Everything has come together really well here.
