75 cl bottle @ home. 5,2% version, bottled on 31.05.2011, BBE 31.05.2016
Lots and lots of foam when pouring, has happened also before with light beers from DM. Aroma has some roastiness, cocoa, nuts and gooseberry bush. Dry flavour has some coffee, milk chocolate and roastiness. Harsh hops come a bit too much through. Too much CO2 on slightly thin palate. Decent.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg
Muddy dark brown color; small creamy head. The aroma is mild, a bit dusty, roasted malts, but also with hops. Strong chocolate and roasted malt flavor; initially there is a beautiful hopping that is difficult to find in these beers, fruity, but unfortunately it’s then replaced by an ashy final of burnt wood, this being too aggressive for my palate. Good, but not exactly my cup of tea.

This beer, although not being my style, still scored quite good. Good taste and smell. Mouthfeel didn’t work out for me.

Jag skulle kalla det här för en engelsk syrlig porter. Lite bränd, lätt kropp med chokladkaraktär.
