Welcome to Frucht, our land of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from fermentation in one of our twin oak foeder vessels - the largest known to be fabricated in this country. Bottle. Pours clear orange, small fizzy white head, minimal lacing. Aroma is tart, lemony, stone fruit, mango perhaps, dust. Flavor is light plus tart, light mango, mineral. Medium body. Good.

Sample at the Cheers MotherPuppers! - OJ’s Puppy Shower tasting on 08/04/2019. Hazy straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of tart fruit, wheat and oak. Light-bodied with flavors of tart mango, oak, wheat and bready malt. The finish is wheaty and tart with a mango aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours golden woth small white head that lasts. The aroma is mango, wheat, lemon, dough, oak. Thin body, very acidic, sour lemon, light mango and oak, good.

Bottle @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour mango aroma. Fruity sour tart mango flavor. Has a fruity sour tart mango finish.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has light grain notes with some lemon notes and medium light mango notes. Pours a fairly clear, bright gold, with a medium large, thin, frothy, white head that recedes immediately and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a moderate acidity with a light sweetness. Light grain notes and faint bitterness and oak. Medium mango notes and a dry finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice mango berliner. Fruit note is balanced with a bit of wheat and citrus notes.

Pours clear dark golden color with thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruits and lactic acid. Quite sour for a berliner. Faint mango and strong lactic acid flavors. Light to medium body with average carbonation.

2017. Huge mango nose, tart as hell with strong mango and hints of sweetness on the back. Love it.
