Bottle thanks to Benjamin. Pours a murky orange with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is agave, earth, oak. Slick body, oak, tequilla, funky, dry finish, very good.

750mL bottle shared at the Broken Truck tasting, 12/1/17.
Lightly hazy, bright orange-golden body topped by a thin, off-white head that immediately fizzles out.
Vegetal, light sulfur and honey-cream-corn notes provide a very odd, though unsurprising given the brewer, first impression. Further breathing/warming reveals light apple esters, bits of spice and botanical-like notes assumedly from the tequila barrel. Pretty vague on the saison or even Belgian aspects here. It's mostly just malt, barrel/liquor and weird/strange/hard-to-place notes. Light alcohol vapors on the end.
Slick/oily texture more than it is soft, with strong tannin giving a good backbone, but unusually low/loose carbonation creating problems. It just feels oily/watery and sluggish, with strong wood character, vegetal notes, almost syrupy malt at times. This probably could have been a good beer but the execution was terrible. Also the typical bizarre Fantome notes don't seem to have the charm they used to.

750 ml bottle from Etre Gourmet.
Orange, hazy body, with a small, yellowish head.
Aroma of dough, bread, moderate pepper, sweet fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with the tequila barrel coming a bit through.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes smooth, medium dry, medium sweet, medium spicy, a bit wooden.

Tasty. Very smooth, pretty much a regular Saison, with the tequila barrel only subtly integrated. Lovely, old-school Saison, very well balanced.

0,75l bottle at home shared by Saeglopur, big thanks. No BB date. orange very hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, green herbal, grassy, flowery, some wood, medical, spices, black pepper, hints of sweetness, very interesting and nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, earthy, wood, some tequila, light sweetness, bit medical, peppery. finishes lightly dry and bitter with notes of green herbs, citrus and some tequila. rather nice one, loved the smell, taste is a bit weird, but overall quite drinkable.
