Cask, gravity at Shrewsbury Folk Festival main bar, Shrewsbury, Sunday 28th August 2016 Dark gold edging towards light amber, it’s ok with a light bitterness throughout, actually it’s quite bitter with a rustic English hoppiness. Dry finish, it’s fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask at the Old Swan. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is peachy fruit, malt. The flavour is light bitter with a fresh fruity light hop bitter palate and a mellow lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled pint in the excellent Kinver Constitutional Club on 3rd June 2014. Pours a good solid gold with white head that hung around. The nose was fruity with light maltiness, biscuit and bread like. The taste followed on in the same pattern, malty rather than hop bitter. Fairly smooth for a bitter and very easy to drink.
