Fles Christmas Beer. Donkerbruin bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is licht kruidig en bitterzoet met iets van kaneel, gedroogd fruit, en kandij. Verradelijk bier omdat het hoge ABV nauwelijks opvalt.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Red brown colour with big foamy off white head. Quite a yeasty aroma with red fruits, caramel, hay, spice. Taste has a nice caramel malt, dried fruit and spice. Unfortunately it is also quite metallic in its grassy bitter finish.

Kerstbierfestival Essen bottle: Very decent christmas brew with an fine selection of spices, and the colour of the brew is dark red.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Reddish/brown with a medium head. Caraeml, spices, malt, mild banana and some yeast. Some warming notes in the finish.

Mahognifarget klar med beige skum. Lukter karamell, mørk sirup og belgisk gjær. Fyldig. Smaker brent karamell, alkohol, belgisk gjær og rosin. Lang.

Bottle from who knows when, courtesy of HP, shared with Vojta. Murky dark brown body, off-white head. Caramelly, sweet taste, light cheese, floral notes, Parmesan cheese, light alcohol. Better taste, malty, sweet, caramelly, bit spicy-phenolic, nice and simple. Not a triple really but a solid Belgian.

(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, apricots marmalade, orange peel, honey, bread, spices and nuts. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, apricot marmalade, dark bread, orange peel, nuts, syrup, spices (cardamom?) and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite sweet. Warming and well balanced winter ale. Nice one.

Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of dried fruit, spices, caramel, light bitter finish. Not the best winter beer.
