750 ml corked bottle as Abbaye d'Aulne Christmas Beer. Unclear chocolate brown, fluffy foamy head. Molasses, dried dates and figs, some spices, chocolate, some dry citrus notes, some herbal hops. Not too overly malty sweet with a dry bitter hint. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry malty finish, alcohol well hidden and very drinkable. Very nice!

Corked bottle. Dark brown color, a head that disappears fast. Maple syrup and apple in the aroma. Thinnish, sweet, alcoholic. Apple syrup and cinnamon in the aroma. Disappointing.

Nice strong belgain tripel, tastes a bit more like a dubbel to me with its caramel malts so forward. Some slight spice that makes it nice for the winter. D&S Dresden

Bottle. pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is bit sweet, some dark malts. Taste is sharp, Sugar sweetness, but nicely underlined by a malty body and the typical spices. Perhaps a bit too sugary for my own personal taste, But I could see people enjoying this very much. not bad at all.
