Straw and golden color, crowned with a fine foam. Lively and pointed nose, with fermentation accents with a lactic touch and notes of flowery cheese. Exquisite palate, round attack, balanced and full. Elegant floral aromas. EBC 15.

Bottle shared with Jmgreenuk. Gushed from the bottle and poured hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is light yeast and fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Fairly light considering the 7% ABV. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 27 Oct 2013) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, tropical fruit and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with bread, dried pineapple, citrus, candy sugar and a balanced grassy bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Bottle at Brux Ale, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a very white frothy head a lots of carbonation. The aroma is fresh and yeasty. The flavour is clean, crisp and with all that Belgian yeast and malt. It’s not too dissimilar to many other Belgian blondes I’ve tasted and it has many similarities with Duvel. It’s highly drinkable and il’ll order another!

I liked this better than St. Martin’ Cuvee de Noel. I didn’t taste much of the fruitiness touted in the description, more of a light floral hops and alcohol taste. Not bad.

Hazy golden coloured body with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, malt, coriander seed, light spices and a touch of light dry hops. Medium-bodied; Spicey flavour at first with some dry malt, wheat and a heavy dose of yeast. Aftertaste shows a little coriander seed, a touch of curacao and some mild yet flavourful hops. Overall, a nice beer and a very welcome change from mass produced chinese lagers that I have been drinking. I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle purchased from International Grocery Store in Wan Chai/Admirality (United Centre) as part of the Belgian Month celebration with a HK (not brewery, nor Belgian) best by date of 28-02-2014, purchased for HK$16.90 (cheaper than I could ever find in the USA!) on 25-August-2011 sampled the same day later in my hotel room in Central, Hong Kong on 25-August-2011.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy ochre-amber color with a large foamy off white head. The aroma was candied pear, bread and sugar. The flavor did not live up to the promise of the aroma although it did have some pleasant notes of must, bread, sugar and golden fruits. The finish was medium length must and bread. Fairly full bodied. Decent.
