Bottle online from Beerhouseshop.be. Pours a murky chestnut brown colour with a reddish hue and a large thick foamy off-white head. Aromas is quite strange but hints of red fruits, apples, candy and caramel. Taste is better with dry dark fruits, caramel, roasted malts, toasty bread, peppery spice and hints of candy and brown sugar. Thinnish body, average carbonation with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad slightly better than average Dubbel.

Sold as Slaapmutske bruin. The ABV is the same. Malty, dusty, peppery aroma. Malty caramelly flavor with hints of coreander and pear. Slightly peppery. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Well made beer.

Flesje gedeeld met H. Roodbruin bier met stevig schuim. Aroma is fruitig (braambos en bessen). Smaak is zacht, zoet en toch een beetje hoppig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Pours hazy brown/amber with a diminishing, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, hops & herbs, yeast, licorice and caramel. It tastes light malty sweet and very light fruitiy sour, then medium herbal bitter leading to a shortish, dry, tea-like herbal finish. Medium body, watery/slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Subtle, perhaps a bit too subtle.
