Cydonia perfectly balances the wonderful aroma, sweetness and acid of the quince. The scent is perfumed by tropical fruit and flowers. The fresh acid is rounded off by honey-soft sweetness with a pleasant touch of bitterness.
A delicious dessert wine, which is great for the cheese table, desserts or as a good glass in itself.

Bottle pour at Cider Hole, Sheffield Ratebeer mini-gathering 04Mar2023. Clear bright golden colour, no head and aroma of quince, citric, syrup, spice hint. Taste is sweet, concentrated quince, fruity, savory & woody hints, syrup, sugar and drying, slight tart. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, syrupy drying slick finish. Interesting, very sippable.

375 ml corked bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. ABV is 10.0%. Ice perry / quince wine. Deep golden colour, no carbonation. Aroma of concentrated / freeze distilled pear / quince juice, notes of flowers and honey. Very sweet flavour, with the same elements as the aroma. Good, but the price prohibits another purchase.

Pours clear blonde, smell is very full, funky, heavy, syrupy. Taste is full, very intense. Sweet, very aromatic. Perfumy. Raw fruityness. Bit funky.
