Bottle pour at Wild Fest Groningen. Nem jegyzeteltem, csak pontoztam a sört.

Certainly a good beer. Not as good as many neutral belgian lambics. More barnyardy funk. Chewy. Clean, but more horseblanket. Bierkonig ams

Pours unclear darker blonde. no real head. Scent is mildly polyphenolic. Fairly soft, some oak. Taste is weird, bit of a mess TBH. Vin jaune isn't really recognizable (no nutty or oxidative notes) yet the lambic turns more herbal, polyphenolic, sharp, twigs, medicinal. Not great at all :(

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of rich horseblanket, white grape, oak, funk, citrus and green apple. Taste has dry horseblanket, tart citrus, oak, green apple, white grape and a lot of funk. Man this is dry. Good dutch gueuze.

Bottle, bottled 3-2019. Color: Clear golden, thin white head. Aroma: Strong farmyard and horse blanket funk, fruity, grainy, cheesy. Taste: Grain, malty, pretty strong farmyard and horse blanket wild yeast funk, sweetish and tart fruity notes of white grapes and overripe apple, aplle peel, tannins, wood. Cheesy hints. Just over moderate sweet and tart, moderate bitterness. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one. --- Beer merged from original tick of Watergeus - Vin Jaune on 28 Feb 2020 at 19:36 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5. Wild festival. Near clear golden with some white head. Funky grainy, parmesan cheese, grapes, hay, sweaty, woody, nectar. Moderate sweet and bitter, mild sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. Really lovely.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of oak, oxidization in a good way, soft citrus and a light dry funk. Flavour is moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
