Milkshake beers are a strange but delicious phenomenon brewed with lactose sugar and apple pectin. They're hazy, slightly sweet, and hoppy, with a velvety mouthfeel unlike any other. Some people love them, some people consider them blasphemy – luckily they're an optional spice of life (that sell out faster than we can brew them). Plan for these awful, no good, sacrilegious beers accordingly.

What it smells like, what it tastes like: Lime Milkshark was conditioned on vanilla and a solid dose of sour lime juice. As you might imagine, this beer is all about intense aromas of citrus, vanilla, and tropical hops. Full-bodied and delicious.

Can: Poured a bright golden color ale with a large white foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of strong tart notes with vanilla and lime is a bit weird. Taste is also a mix of strong tart notes with some vanilla and lime and weird residual sugar notes is a bit off-balanced. Body is about average with good carbonation. Weird one and not sure I will feel the need to drink this again.

Canette 473ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur jaune-orangée trouble, mousse blanche fuyante. Arôme de lime, vanille, zeste de lime, malt. Goût de vanille, malt, houblon fruité, amertume moyenne-faible, légère âcreté, lime. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen.

Cloudy, with a very limey note. Lots of vanilla, lime, has a decent balance, but an odd beer.

473mL can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of lime, vanilla and lacose upfront -- the hops are pretty muted at this point. Flavour is ridiculous, full of vanilla, lactose and lime in fun balance -- there's some citrus hops further back that fill this in. A ridiculous amount of shit in here, but it's harmonious. Good stuff.

Lots of creamy lime. Murky yellow with a small white head. Tastes like a key lime pie, in a good way. Solid.

(can) hazy, bright, greenish yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of lime soda, pineapple; odd but attractive balanced flavour with a long, light bitter sweet finish
