A splendid, maroon-coloured beer with fine aromas of spiced fruit, orange peel and well-roasted malt to delight the nose. The flavour is a spicy balance of caramel, citrus and slightly bitter hops to restore that warm feeling during the dark days of winter. If stored in a cool, dark place, IJndejaars will keep for years.

Tap at Cafe Belgique, Amsterdam. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is resin hop, citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a big yeast, citrus resin malt hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle, CAJS, shared with Nataša & Srđan - thanks! Murky dark amber body. Light sweetish aroma, rosehip, honey - yeasty. Sweet taste, spicy, light cloves - despite being on the sweet side, I found it was quite nice.

Hazy dark amber with medium light beige head. Orange, dried candied fruits, touch of roasted malts, cherry, light spices and light hoppy finish. Sweet with long light bitter and tart finish. Medium bodied with full carbonation. Good.
