12oz @ Ryan (thx for the beer, man!) shared with Alex.
Maple, some coffee, moderately sweet, a bit of booze. Taste is along the same lines. Nice complexity added by the maple barrel. Good one.

Poured from 355mL bottle (pkg Apr 18, 2019). Very dark brown with small beige head. Coffee, mild background maple syrup, feint tobacco, the slightest of hints of cinnamon, comes together quite nicely. Enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with no real head - just a couple of bubbles. Aromas of chocolate syrup, dark sugars, cinnamon toast and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with addition soft sweet bourbon notes. Spicy finish though not showing the ABV. Vintage 2019 may be showing it’s age, as not as flavorful and rich as expected.

12 oz bottle poured, from the S&H cellar. Dense near black pour. Lasting cola brown head. Huge maple and whiskey nose. Flavor is intense, but I wouldn't say 15% intense. Chocolate syrup, with more bold than sweet, maple, coffee. Some spice. Big pancake lingering palate. Intense when it needs to be, smooth otherwise. Awesome brew.

12oz bottle at home courtesy of Rob, big thanks. Bottled April 18th, 2019. black color, small dark coffee colored head. smells of oak, some bourbon, some soy sauce, spices, earthy. nice smell, very dominant oak flavours. full body, no carbonation. tastes of oak, some sweetness, some maple, vanilla, some booze, some minty notes, sweet spices. finishes rather on the sweet side with notes of vanilla, oak and spices. very sweet one, not the greatest balance. rather oak forward but not so much bourbon. decent. gets super sweet when warm, almost undrinkable.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a full two fingers of tan head that lingers. Dark chocolate, baker's chocolate, dried maple and toasted oak on the nose. Medium body with a mild bourbon presence. Lot's more dark chocolate and toasted maple on the finish. Dry and roasty finish with some espresso and barrel notes.

Bottle. A- Cinnamon, coffee, chicory, mild maple. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Saigon cinnamon, espresso, charred wood, cocoa, subtle bitterness. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- 1.5 years old drank at cellar temp. A surprising amount of spicy cinnamon throughout. The maple was fairly light considering how much it was advertised. Coffee tastes dark, bitter, and woodsy. Great beer.
