A hazed blonde DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours moderately hazy orange-gold with a thick white head and some lace. Aroma is grapefruit, green melon, underripe pineapple, some stone fruit, cannabis and bread. Flavour is fairly dry, quite melon and grapefruit-forward, underripe tropical fruit, dank leafy resins, fairly prominent bready malt, finish is fairly dry, lightly bitter and peppery, citrus peels and dank resins with a little green onion and lingering melon/pineapple hits. Medium-bodied, oily, soft carbonation. Decent stuff but for whatever reason the hops didn't take off here. In this case the DDH version was far superior.

Cloudy pale blond colour. It's very juicy, tropical upfront, some stone fruit and mellow citrus later; the sweetness is moderate, not sticky.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright tropical fruits, some dank hops, light citrusy, and bready notes. Flavour brings out bright tropical fruits, moderately dank hops, citrus, and resinous notes. Bright, fruity, and tropical, with a great balance between malt and hops. Excellent.

Tall can (thx, Eric D.!) at Matt's. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: fresh tropical fruits, some grass. Taste: along the same lines with some slight candy notes finish. Overall: pretty good, but it's not classic hazy IPA.

Canette 473ml. Couleur jaune opaque, mousse blanc cassé onctueuse et persistante. Arôme d'ananas, mangue, houblon fruité, malt pâle, pointe de cannabis. Goût de mangue juteuse, amertume moyenne-faible, malt, pointe de levure, pointe de clémentine en fin de bouche. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense, duveteux.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of huge notes of tropical hops notes with some floral undertones and grassy and dank notes is enticing. Taste is a great mix of tropical notes with huge floral undertones and grassy/dank notes with light residual sugar notes also perceptible. Body is full with good level of carbonation. Solid IIPA but not my favorite from this series.

Canned, thanks Ottawa friends! Cloudy straw colour, mid sized head. Rich aroma of guava and passionfruit. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded, somewhat mealy mouthfeel. Honey, papaya and guava. Low bitterness.
