33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A murky amber pour with a billowing white head; quite a gentle aroma with some grass from the Saaz hops coming through the citrus from the Citra; the Citra hops dominate the taste though, with a rich sweet grapefruit taste, and a creamy body, perhaps from the barley; the finish is smooth with a lasting grapefruit bitterness, and a pleasant rounded warmth. A subtle and very drinkable IPA.

Bottle from Appleyards Deli, Shrewsbury. Murky golden-amber with a thin white head. Good resinous mouthfeel. Pine up front then lots of citrus- sour lemon and grapefruit- followed by some mango and then a dirty, earthy bitterness to finish. Didn’t do it for me at all- I’m quite surprised by the high scores here.

Really enjoyed this: cask half-pint at the 24th Shrewsbury CAMRA Beer Festival on 6th Nov 2014. Golden pour with a white cushion for a head. Not as citrusy as I expected, the flavours and aromas are there but subtle and controlled. The alcohol is well hidden by the depth of body and flavours. Got my vote as the beer of the festival.

Pours a dirty brown color, hazy, topped with small whit head. The aroma is very pleasant - citrusy hops, fruity notes. The taste starts fruity, followed by an extra pleasant and decent hoppy bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Dunkel hopfiger, leicht fruchtiger Antrunk. Leichte Bitterkeit, vollmundig würzig. Konstante Hopfigkeit, geringe Alkoholnoten in der Nase. Gut! 12/11/12/12/11/12

330ml bottle from Beermerchants

BBE 01.03.15 - Pours clear golden with a smooth head. Aroma of alcohol, malts, citrusy hops and herbal grassy notes. Taste is strong, warming and malty with some citrus, grass and hints of wheaty notes. Finish is warming and malty with some hoppiness. Okay, but doesn’t feel very fresh.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy orange with a full sized white to off-white head. Smells fresh, grapefruit, citra, citrus, slightly floral, nice! Tastes citrussy, slightly mandarin, fresh, bitter, grapefruit, quite lovely. Medium body, very refreshing, lovely carbo.
