Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy head. It’s extremely hoppy in character with citrus tropical fruit flavours abundant. They leave quite a sour aftertaste that lingers and is not overly pleasant.

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Hazy amber pour with a medium off white head. Sweet nose of sticky toffee pud, tropical fruits and piney hop. Flavour offered more sweetness and citrus fruits in tandem with some fairly robust hop bitterness. Smooth, drinkable and really a rather pleasant IPA dear boy.

Bottle The Wine Cellar, Sanderstead. It pours pale golden with a thick white head. The nose is orange, candied peel, pine, sherbet and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, bitter, pine, orange peel, grapefruit, grassy edge, pepper and earth/dirt with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Rather nice work from Salopian.

Keg Pint @ various bars in Shrewsbury. Tasting wondrous right now. Luscious, vibrant fruit dynamics.. passionfruit, papaya, peach.. full flavoured exotics.. exceedingly moreish. This is Salopian at their very VERY best. Without doubt one of the finest IPAs out there. 330ml bottle from Les Crepes de Sophie, Shrewsbury. Fresh tasting citrus, very modest pine, deceivingly strong, a touch creamy.. great stuff as usual from Salopian.
