Pitch black, almost no head. Aroma sweet malty, roasted, cocoa, liquorice, brown sugar, cinnamon. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasty, chocolate. Full body, oily texture, flat carbonation, aftertaste bittersweet, roasty, chocolate, alcoholic. Not so much refinement in this beer, one-dimensional.

330 ml. bottle sampled. Purchased @ ABC Beers. Pours blackish dark brown with little in the way of head. Sweet candy nose, cannot pin down a name though, cuberdons maybe?, lots of delicious sugary cany, caramel,… Taste is sadly more umami than the nose, mix of candy, soy sauce, molasses, herbal, lots of thick liquorish,… Thick liquorish body. Too much umami & liquorish to fully work for me but I still liked it.
