Foedre Aged Wild Saison: Featuring a base of European Pilsner malt, Triticale, and a touch of Munich malt, the beer was hopped lightly in whirlpool with Sterling and Huell Melon hops before being fermented in foedre with a host of house yeast cultures. Allowed to condition in foedre for about 4 months before being dry hopped with Loral, Huell Melon, and Citra, then can-conditioned with the addition of champagne yeast.

Hazy blond colour. Slightly sour, with strong botanical notes, ranging from chamomile to other wild flowers; the base beer has no depth.
Not interesting.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the wood, with lots of funky wild yeast, and some saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of funky wild yeast, earthy notes, some citrus hops, and saison yeast. Unusual, but it's very pleasant. Very good.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a nice large foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light lemony notes is OK. Taste is a mix of light tart notes with some lemony notes and light floral hops. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but lacking a little something.
