Can, 6.5%. Quite powerful some, roasted with dry liquorice notes, cardboard and smoke. Black colour. Ok light brown head. The flavour is roasted, smoked, salty with a good spicy hoppiness. Also a little sweet, actually.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Can looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, roasty, bitter background. Woody notes. Some hints of coffee. Well balanced finish, roasty-malty. Nice one!

Donkerbruin bier bier met stevig en veel schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met ietwat rook, wat koffie en chocolade. Best goed hoor.

Not very smoked at all. Light thin body, a tad sour, but it works. not off, but not super clean either. Slightly muddy and a bit one dimensional. Bier König ams (3.5 aug 2021) Again from bierkonig, feel about the same, maybe even a 3.4, just thin

Bottle. Very dark brown with an inch of tan head. Aroma is smokey with dried fruit, toffee, roasted seaweed. Pretty much how it tastes too with a bit of citrus creeping into the dry, slightly astringent, moderately bitter end. Somewhat creamy textured. The texture and the finish really brought things together nicely.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Danke. Light smoked aroma with underlying dark berries and coffee. Dark and glossy. Thick creamy beige head. The latter is not a surprise as it was a gusher. Light-medium bitter. Enveloped in smokey umami. Some sourness appears into the finish alongside a sweet creaminess. Thick bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Decent subtle stuff.

Bottle courtesy of Mallorn via the RB EU 2019-1 trade. Slow gushing foamy head on a black body. Big campfire aroma. Smoke, smoke, smoke with some chocolate underneath. Intense but not unpleasant. Quite nice actually. Taste is charred bittersweet, assuming there is such a thing. Hints of berries creep up during the long and mildly warming finish. Medium bodied, oily, balanced carbonation. Another good one from Mallorn! Too bad I‘m almost out.

Bottle. Deep dark Brown color, milk and smoke (smoked sausage and beechwood) in the aroma. Roasty smoky flavor, fat sausage mainly. Creamy mouthfeel. Well balanced.
