Grapefruit and tangerine. Pleasant hops aroma here. Pours clear golden with good head and lacing. Some lemon on the finish, a little straw. Body is light for a West Coast IPA, but overall feel is pleasant. Can.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick, soapy curtains of lace. Mild aroma of caramel malt, pineapple, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, pineapple, orange peel, grapefruit and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad but seems more of a gateway IPA.

Pale gold, thin head, bright. Med bitterness, lots of alcohol. Mellow bready malt. Berryish fruity hop notes…so a safe std IPA.

Glass, 12-ounce, draught, drunk on the premise, trip to the International Population Data Linkage Network conference, savoured on September 15 2018; eye: golden with a caramel hue, hazy, no effervescence, ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: tropical fruits, citrusy, light fusel, light alcohol; mouth: tropical fruits, citrusy, light fusel, light alcohol, light grain, light pepper, finale in fusel with presence of citrusy fruits, medium body, average carbonation, mildly bitter, lightly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: fine

Weedy and caramel. Clear gold with a small white head. Weedy and earthy, not that great.

On tap at Cold Garden, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some diacetyl, with biscuity malt and cat piss. Flavour is more resembling of citra, with lots of cat piss, some diacetyl and biscuity malt. Rather dry, with a toasty finish. Solid.

An IPA on training well. Drinkable, but lacks complexity, bitterness and anything interesting. This is an IPA for people who don't like IPAs - in that sense they nailed it.
