One sip is like a citrusy fruit salad to the face, like making out with a cold pineapple on a hot day, and like running naked through the hop fields of the pacific North West. This beer can satisfy the alpha acid heads and the rookie swimmer who needs to give their toes a dip before jumping head first down the hop hole. Turn on, tune in, and hop out.

Grapefruit and tangerine. Pleasant hops aroma here. Pours clear golden with good head and lacing. Some lemon on the finish, a little straw. Body is light for a West Coast IPA, but overall feel is pleasant. Can.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick, soapy curtains of lace. Mild aroma of caramel malt, pineapple, orange and floral hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, pineapple, orange peel, grapefruit and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad but seems more of a gateway IPA.

On tap at Cold Garden, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some diacetyl, with biscuity malt and cat piss. Flavour is more resembling of citra, with lots of cat piss, some diacetyl and biscuity malt. Rather dry, with a toasty finish. Solid.
