Opaque brown beer, good fluffy pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry and sharply crisp. Airy malts, slightly sweet and tangy. Light candy fruits becoming a little sherbetty. Touch of spice. Finishes smooth and creamy with a trace of mellow smoke. Mild bitter linger. Interesting, well joined up, tasty and drinkable.

dark brown colour, huge, dense beige head; aroma of roasted malt, some coffee, grassy and herbal notes; taste is the same with spicy aftertaste;really good, but (with this porter-stout-like appearance and aroma/taste) strange saison

Towering cream-beige head, stable over clear, deep-chestnut coloured, very lively carbonated beer, leaving shards of lace. Quite spicy nose, jumble of aromatics, grass, banana, caramel, fusely. Sweetish, with a lot of burnt/roasted grains, lending typical roasted bitterness, burnt cookies. Taste tends towards the sweet side, but beer remains dry in character. Bit leafy, bitter herbs. Feels surprisingly light for a 18.5Β° Plato beer, probably very attenuated. Slick, dry, but effervescent. It’s great. It’s not Black (actually, a pity about the ridiculous head, the mesmerizing colour would have warranted a 5/5). It’s not a Saison. And neither would I call it a Bitch. To be renamed "De Molen Niet & Nog minder"?
