Caligula, notre Double IPA aux houblons Citra et Nelson Sauvin. Bien aromatique, avec une texture crémeuse, cette DIPA est facile (trop?) à boire.

473ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, white head; substantial lacings. Citrusy fruity and slightly vinous fruity, hoppy aroma, oaty and slightly wheaty malty background, notes of lemon and white grapes, hints of gooseberry, kiwi fruit, a touch of yuzu and lime. Taste is citrusy and slightly vinous fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty basis, very mild hop bitterness, some fruity tartness, notes of lemon, kiwi fruit, white grapes, some gooseberry, a touch of grape sugar; some more bitterness in the finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, almost creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and balanced, homogenous, focussed - great!

(473ml fresh can shared by Luc on Nov 12/19, thanks a ton!) Pours moderatelly hazy pale orange with a thick white head and lace. Notes of sweet pungent mango flesh, peach, tangerine, papaya, white grape, fresh grass and light weed, rather sweet and quite juicy with pretty clean malt carrying a light biscuit character. Finish is off-dry, quite fruity with persistent mango and some fresh grassy Nelson, light bitterness and no alcohol or hop burn presence. A really nice highly drinkable DIPA with no rough edges and a nice hop profile.

Yellow, with a bit of diacetyl, and with nice fruity notes. A bit sticky, sweet, with a touch of hop, but it’s a bit odd…not hitting. It’s muddled, and a bit sticky, not really anything that’s really bright.

Cloudy blond colour. Nice fruity aroma, and lactose, tropical candy. Moderately sweet, somehow crisp, with pungent citrus and tropical hop, a bit juicy, pineapple.
Excellent.

473mL can, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet, with lots of candied sugar, resinous hops, and caramel malt. Flavour is very sweet, with candied sugar, resinous hops, and caramel malt. On the sweet side, but it's still tastefully done. Sweet, candied finish, still with ample hops. Good stuff, but a tad too sweet for me.

Pours a cloudy golden-yellow colour with an off-white cap, kind of creamy, going down quicker but leaving a nice creamy ring. Citrus aromas with grassy notes and spicy hints. The taste shows the citrus juices and zest with a light fruity sweetness that lingers. Slick mouthfeel with a nice dry finish. A really nice orangy Double IPA.

Can: Poured a bright hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits with some mango undertones is super enticing and enjoyable. Taste is a mix of huge tropical fruit flavours with some mango notes, some light residuals sugar with some dank undertones. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. World-class IIPA with nice juicy flavours and no bitterness.
