Modern bockbier, according to German law, must be fermented to an alcohol content of 6.5% or higher. In keeping with tradition we have created a smooth, creamy seasonal lager well balanced with little hop aroma. On tap at Longwood Brewpub, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out British malt, bready notes and light caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, toasted caramel and gentle toffee. Clean and drinkable. Solid stuff.

Light caramel notes. Clear copper with a decent beige head. Light caramel, touch of apple and a nice finish. Easy drinking.

Tap. Neutral nose. Pretty copper, offwhite cream. Lightish body for a bock, sparkly mouthfeel. Flowery hops, not much malt sustenance, watery, more of a pale ale really.

Gorgeous bright copper colour. Big cherry nose with deep caramel base. Soft, sugary with loads of cherry candy sweetness. Definitely strange (for style) but not bad beer.
