Light citrus and caramel malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Malt forward and sweet hoppy notes. Very old school.

On tap at Flyer's Restaurant, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour reveal dry piney hop notes, some light herbal and enough crackery malt to back. Not the most interesting IPA, but everything is in proportion. A little astringent on the finish.

2014-04-18, draught at the brewpub, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Cloudy blond color with creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, but also a bit cheesy. Dry mouthfeel, leaner than expected; some malt flavor, with a hay character; very strong bitterness, maybe too strong in the final with a chicory impression, with a lot of hop oils, a bit grassy, leafy hops.
An APA, rather messy.

Hazy amber color; medium sized head. The aroma is a mix of caramel and resiny and fruity hops, nice. Quite good caramel and toffee flavor, with moderate residual sweetness; imposing hopping, very resiny, abrasive almost, with some bitter oranges fruitiness; very long final, strong.
Bold IPA, not as sticky as a Double IPA, but as hopped.

22 oz bomber from bvc. Pour is a slight hazed orange golden with a big three inch white head. Head falls slow with some nice lacing. Aroma is lightly sweet caramel malt along with a resinous earthy floral hops. Taste is the reverse of the nose, flinty resinous hops right away -acidic and very earthy. The malt is present though certainly behind the hops. Palate is medium bodied, mineral flint dry finish, a bit dirty in the long lingering finish. Nice one, thanks Brandon.

Draught. Orange deep with white head. Strong hop smell, naartjies and seville oranges. Floral flavour, hoppy without being a hop bomb, well balanced. Very bitter, but not overly so.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is full with grapefruit, tangelo, orange peel and spicy hops. The taste doesn’t disappoint with plenty of tasty bold hops up front like citrus grapefruit mixing with some spiciness and also some pine hoppy goodness. A subtle yet supportive layer of malts is well underneath the hoppiness.
