Alpha King's festive cousin. A big American Xmas Porter brewed with English chocolate malt, Mexican sugar and, of course, tons of strange American hops.

Bottle at share. Dark brown pour with a small, fluffy tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste stays the course, light bitterness with rich roasty grain flavors.

Bottle from Beers of America. A deep/dark brown coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee taste and aroma. A decent bitter tasting porter from Three Floyds, almost a black IPA.

Bottle. A- Roasty, smoke, charred wood, slightly hoppy. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, smoke, umami, char, bitter, cocoa. P-Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish. O- Tasted more like a traditional RIS, didn't get a lot of Christmas spice. Not bad.

Grabbed a bottle from Julios. Dark pour and ok sized head. Law is light roast and molasses. Tastes of ash, brown sugar, bitter dark chocolate, earthy, licorice. Lighter bodied than expected.

Christmas in June. 12 oz. bottle from Craft Brewed in Nashville, TN. Pours a super dark brown color with a large tight light brown head and great retention. Great lacing too. Coffee and treacle/molasses aroma. Similar flavors: Roasted coffee and malts are dominant with a strong treacle/molasses finish. Medium-heavy body. Semi-slick mouthfeel. Low carbonation and light bitterness. Classic porter, but too much molasses for me.
