Alpha King's festive cousin. A big American Xmas Porter brewed with English chocolate malt, Mexican sugar and, of course, tons of strange American hops.

Cheap bottle (bottled on 9/28/22). Nice shiny artwork on the label. Smell is metalic boozy slightly burned malt. Pour is large and in charge; big, black and a nice large choco moose head. Whew, first taste is boozy & farmy. Yes, it's the effects of old burnt damp wet campfire wood and it creates a warming sensation down the throat. Seems like much more than 6% to me. A little difficult in the middle. That farmy thing keeps kicking in, I'm a surprised of the impact it has. I'm not talking freshly cut hay, I'm talking the feel of stuff on the barn floor, you know, the taste you get in your mouth when your smell the heavy odor of old musty animal barns? Well, I guess you'd have to have experienced that once in yer life. In the middle it gets a little viscous on the palate, barely any detectable co2. Really sticks to your ribs. Becomes almost difficult in the end. Finishes with a good kick in the ass. More like a baltic porter if you ask me. Yea, was expecting a typical spiced-up holiday brew, surprised; no spices to be found! YEAH!

Porter or black IPA; tasty either way. Veins of dark chocolate, caramel, and berry give way to roast and a healthy dose of citrus pith and pine on the back end. Tasty as hell.
