Bottled. Dark color, medium head. Aroma of coffee, strong hop, roasted malt. Velvety texture. Smooth chocolate notes, creamy. Great brew.

Courtesy of jdubFL. Pours dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is roasty, dry milk chocolate, mild dark roastiness, citrus hops and pine hops. The taste comes all at once with pine and citrus hops running into dark roastiness, some burnt malts and chocolate creating a pleasing experience. The hops take center stage for this tasty brew. This brewery makes some amazing beer.

courtesy of jdubfl. pours black, beige head. aroma is boozy, roasted malts Taste, roasted malts, chocolate, hitns of coffee. Overall mouthfeel has a good note of booze, starts of coffee/malt with light hop bitterness in the finish. Well balanced, amazingly easy to drink. The hoppy side just meshes well with the malts.

Bottled. Very deep reddish ambery brown colour, with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruits, berries, some alcohol and quite big on the hops as well. Flavour is fruits, some hops, mald dark dry fruits and also some berries. Also some hoppy hints.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized brown head. The aroma was moderately strong fruity and floral hops with a light sweet malty undertone. The flavor was sweet chocolate, strong fruity & moderate floral hops and toasty malts. The finish was long with sweet fruits and chocolate. The mouthfeel was fairly thick. Very good.

Bottle 22oz. @ home.Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090112]

Bottle. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty hoppy licorce and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter finish with some hints of licorice and chocolate in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Really black, rocky head. Licorice, grapefruit and chocolate upfront. Medium sweet, aromatic and balanced. Solid bodied and well balanced with a lovely combo of grapefuit and licorice - hops and roastiness. Finishes with long pleasant bitterness. A winner!
