47,3 cl can @ Antitasting. Canned 21.12.2018. Aroma has plastic glue, pear esthers and alcohol. Flavour has plastic glue, sweet berries, sweet & harsh malt and some alcohol. Also toffee candy. Too sweet and too much alcohol here.

Can. Dark chestnut colour, thin head. I feel like this is a good-looking barley wine. Aroma showcases bourbon, figs, raisins, dried apricots, toffeeish sugars, little bit of alcohol. There's a lot going on, despite it being a bit of a bourbon bomb. Sweet up front with lots of sticky dark sugars and plummy dark fruit depths. There's a light tannin accent that helps to dry it out, along with a fair bit of alcohol. The complex dark fruits and sugars are a lot of fun. I'm liking this.

Can at Weathered, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, caramel and some bready malt. Flavour is decadent, with dark fruits, caramel, and bourbon barrels. Sweet but nowhere close to cloying. Excellent.

473 ml can. Pours a dark mahogany with light head. Big and malty with sweet bourbon notes. Simple, not really a serious barley wine though the barrel adds complexity. Like a lot of recent barley wines, quite nice but just really a big sweet malty beer. Fits the can. Would not cellar.

2018-12-22, can, 7-4-8-3-15=37
The alcohol aroma is strong; mild aroma of caramel, malt, sweet nuts. Sweet but not syrupy, bourbon, some malt and fudge but not much depth, evident mostly in the final that is boozy and relatively short.

2018-12-22, draught at the brewery, 7-4-8-4-15=38
Dark brown colour with small beige head. Good body strength, the malt base is on the low range for Barley Wines, moderately sweet, a bit nutty, with a good bourbon/vanilla character, and some alcohol burn in the end.
Not as rich as Driftwood OCD and Thor's Hammer, but I'm glad that we brew a few more Barley Wines in the Province.

Tall can at Alex's. Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon and chocolate, nice. Similar taste with some boozy notes. Nice one.
