Perfect foam sits on top of a nice lighter cloudy brown-pink body. Deep brett yeast on the nose with funky sour cherry in all the right quantities. Flavour is deep sweet dark cherries, wood funk, brett yeast. Full enough on the mouth. This stuff is really brilliant, so far beyond all the mediocrity I've trying in town lately.

750 ml bottle. Pours a pinkish orange with light white head. Aromas of farmyard, citrus, perfumey fruit, and bready malts. Flavors of sweet sugary cherries (almost cherry pie), citrus and grainy malts.

Pink-red colour. Little bit of haze. No head. Aroma is bretty, with light jammy cherry. Has a cherry pit note. The malts are just sort of neutral. Decent brew, nice cherry taste. Would like the brett to kick in a bit more.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a clear golden with a large red-tinged white head. Aroma brings out plenty of brett funk upfront, with cherry notes following and a touch of floral notes. Flavour blends the brett and cherry really nicely, with brett funk and tart cherries acting cohesively and assertively. I really like the addition of cherries here. This is excellent.

2019-01-05, corked bottle at Jamie's, 7-3-7-4-15=36
Quite strong cherry character, and the underlying beer is bold too. Final astringency.
Very good, more expressive than the tap sample.

2018-12-19, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 7-3-7-3-14=34
Cloudy light amber colour with red-copper hue. Fruity and sour aroma with notes of acetone. Smooth mouthfeel, some residual sweetness helps the fruit to express itself; but also too yeasty, cheesy, dough-y almost, some interesting Brett, light funk; juicy finish. Balanced and dynamic, but also a bit messy.
