Very dry, lots of tart flavours, lemon, hints of spice. Not much resemblance to a wit. Sour tar finish, lots of stone fruit, big bretty aromas, nice stuff, refreshing, but I wouldn't know this was based on a wit if I didn't read the description.

I feel funky! Nice tart and funky fruits, spicy. Nice vineous-acidic flavors combined with the funky brett.

A hazed blonde ale with a very thin white head. In aroma, sweet tropical fruits, lemon notes, light Epsom salts, nice. In mouth, a nice tart lemony malt with loads of Brett, acidity, cork notes, grape skins, very nice and complex. Bottle from LCBO at Fairlawn.

Cloudy-hazy golden-orange colour with a creamy-ish off-white head, good stay and some creamy-foamy lacing. The Brettanomyces are felt right away with the earthiness and sourness. Still, not crazy strong, as balanced with the witbier yeast and mild spices. The taste starts off sour and has good lingering. Here, being a little stronger, it kind of overtakes the witbier character. Wish this not happen. Still, a decent Brettbier.

Bottle: Poured a clear pale yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light fruity Brett notes with some cereal notes is enjoyable enough. Taste is a mix of residual sugar notes with some cereal, light wheat with some fruity Brett notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Enjoyable but lacking some complexity.

Draft - Sweet spice, herb and funky esters. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. White grape, grapefruit and a soured dry finish.
