Cask at the Stratford Alehouse. Good gold this, nice fruity grapefruit and lemon like aroma and taste but there is a also a bitter edge with a hint of leafy hop. Semi drying. Easy drinking. Good.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light gold and clear with a spotty off-white head. Enticing grapefruit aroma, lemon zest, hay, a little soap. Some balance in the taste: its pretty sweet with citrus and grainy notes, flowed by a soapy bitterness take centre stage in the latter half of the sip. Medicinal aftertaste. Light oiky body, soft carbonation. Decent.

Half-pint, cask after breakfast at Thomas Lloyd. Filmy layer, upper part lacing, cloudy golden body. Moderate smell of dusty hops with citric hints. Taste of lemony hops and toasted malts. Subdued malt-fruity ending. Fair enough. (Warwick 02.02.2020).

Hand-pulled half-pint in the Three Fishes, Shrewsbury on 26th Jan 2015. Light golden body, clear and clean, on top a snow white topping of foam. Nice blend of aromas and flavours, mild citrus front but that bottoms out and mixes in with the light maltiness. An easy drinking beer which I would happily have again, it is not going to test your senses too greatly, but a very pleasant brew.

Bottle from Bernie’s Off License, Solihull. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, spicy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth malt spicy yeast hop citrus palate and a lingering yeasty bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
