Lukter gjær og sats i starten. Utover noe hvete, urter, smørmaltdrops og karamell. Mahognifarget klar med beige skum. Middels fylde. Søt, maltig smak. Noe bitter brent sukker, hvete og anis. Middels lang.

50 cl bottle poured into a Dimpled mug. Dark amber colour with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, ripe fruits, spicy notes, figs. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Lingering sweet finish. Excellent Bock.

0.5 bottle. Régies klasszikus címke. A világ legrégebbi főzdéjének dunkel dupla bakja.
***
Old classic label. Dunkel double buck of the oldest brewery in the world. Its color is incredibly beautiful, with deep-chestnut shades on the edge of the glass and liquid. Foam brownish white, fades quickly. It smells of roasted coffee with a tiny dried fruity sweet. Moderately carbonated, not so oily, not so full-bodied, but the alcohol is nicely hidden. Not bad, but unfortunately not an outstanding double. Fine anyway.

Donker roodbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is zoet en licht bitter met iets van chocolade, karamel, wat toffee en kandij. Erg fijn bier.

Bottles from Beers Of Europe and House Of Trembling Madness. Clear ruby body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and subtle spices. Flavour of toffee and fruit cake. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A tasty Doppelbock with big caramel vibes.

(On tap) Great looking beer. Deep red brown with good big dense off white head. Rich aroma of tosses with raisin notes. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tate was really too sweet for me. It was dominated by a pleasant dark toffee taste. There was more complexity to it though with port like notes. But too sweet.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Zolling, and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Sunday 3rd November 2019 cooking a Sunday Roast (well steak pie with roasted vegetables) and listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch (still). Pours brown with a light beige head, soft mouthfeel. Lovely mouthfeel, soft caramel, a little bit of toffee ice cream on the nose, really good, quite sumptuous, like this.

Bottle at home, picked up in Schiphol airport, 1st November 19. Just fancied a bock, must be the weather. Pours a nice looking dark chestnut brown beer, nice head. The aroma is black treacle, roasted malts. Taste is black treacle, caramel, molasses, roasted malts, it’s smooth and very delicious, good balance of sweet and light bitterness. Great bock
