Bottles from Beers Of Europe and House Of Trembling Madness. Clear ruby body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and subtle spices. Flavour of toffee and fruit cake. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A tasty Doppelbock with big caramel vibes.

(On tap) Great looking beer. Deep red brown with good big dense off white head. Rich aroma of tosses with raisin notes. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tate was really too sweet for me. It was dominated by a pleasant dark toffee taste. There was more complexity to it though with port like notes. But too sweet.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Zolling, and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Sunday 3rd November 2019 cooking a Sunday Roast (well steak pie with roasted vegetables) and listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch (still). Pours brown with a light beige head, soft mouthfeel. Lovely mouthfeel, soft caramel, a little bit of toffee ice cream on the nose, really good, quite sumptuous, like this.

Bottle at home, picked up in Schiphol airport, 1st November 19. Just fancied a bock, must be the weather. Pours a nice looking dark chestnut brown beer, nice head. The aroma is black treacle, roasted malts. Taste is black treacle, caramel, molasses, roasted malts, it’s smooth and very delicious, good balance of sweet and light bitterness. Great bock

Bottle. Thanks Davido. Nice Belgian almost aroma, nice maltiness, chocolate cocoa, ovaltine. Taste is more fruity, smooth, brown and rich. Wheaty. Definitive Dubbel character. (what on earth was that supposed to mean?)

Deep dark ruby brown color. Malty and fruity aroma. Medium to full bodied, malty and fruity flavor (pear and banana). Some roasted malt and coffee. Just a hint of metal in the aftertaste.

Pours reddish brown, clear with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt and earth. Taste has nutty elements with dark caramel malt. Palate has light hop elements layered over nutmeg and wheat base. Great.

Bottle. Nose is Caramel, bread, rye, marzipan. Taste is dark bread, dough, sweet, a bit metallic. I think this bottle is a bit old. Some weird stuff.
