Taster after another freaking crazy weekend 🤪 Appearance: a bit hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: amazing fruity and flowery aroma with a lot of citrusy notes paied nicely with Belgian characters. Taste: along the same lines, malty, Belgian esters, grapefruit notes. Overall: nice and refreshing

473ml can. Pours a cloudy blonde with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy wheat malt, lemon, grapefruit peel, Belgian yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, lemon, orange, grapefruit peel, Belgian yeast, floral hops and black pepper in a dry, mild spicy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and easy to put back. A very nice Blonde Ale.

Can. Cloudy, tan colour with a thin head. Fruity, lemony, estery aroma. Yeasty, and vaguely dryish in the finish. Nice estery character. A good basic drinkable beer.

Yellow liquid and a bit of head, soft lemon bread on the nose. Flavour is of sweet lager, heavy on the alcohol. It shows through on the mouthfeel which is oily. Abv is not hidden too well but it suffices as a decent strong lager.

20 oz glass at Oysters Express, Vancouver. And then a 12 oz glass, just in case. Everything paired with some beautiful platters of sorted Canadian oysters. It pours cloudy golden, long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is super intense: pine, cedar, citrus, rocket, chicory. Mouth is fizzy, fresh, bitter, long-lingering. Nice one.

Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour with compact head. Smooth and dry, with delicate malt base; unfortunately it has a strong yeast character, maybe some Belgian strain, very estery and spicy, which clashes with the citrusy hops. Therefore there is not much harmony here; but some people may unconditionally like the yeast character and they would like this one too.

473 ml can. Pours amber with full head. Aromas of sulphur, pears, fruity esters and wheaty malts. Flavors of candied citrus, belgian yeast, and more wheaty malts.

Can - Light grapefruit and some nice floral notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light yeasty esters, fruity and perfumy with a light grapefruit note. Solid and very drinkable.

On tap at Dageraad, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a medium white head. Nose brings out spicy Belgian yeast upfront, with a hint of citrus peel and gentle floral hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with a very nice effervescent spicy Belgian yeast character upfront, accentuated nicely by floral hops and a touch of citrus peel. Very drinkable, clean and nicely structured. Very good.
