Sample at TeKu Tavern. Cloudy straw color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, hops, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of dank hops, zesty citrus, yeast and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a crisp citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

16 oz can poured. Cool to see this Matchless can really making the rounds. More people need to know about this gem of a brewery we have in my halfway checkpoint between Seattle and Portland. I haven't completely adjusted to this style that's still new to me, but this is a solid beer as an overall. It sure lives up to the fancy name. It is far from ordinary. A pale blonde pour with haze. A thick mousse foam head. A beautiful can. Very dry as expected. A fruitiness to the hop profile. Cereal grains as much as anything has ever been. Dry and sharp front, but a cool cream body linger. A slick transition between the two. A really interesting product here. Fun collab. Enjoyed this.

Tasting at Brian's, can
Cloudy pale blond colour. Very nice aroma, a bit dank, citrus peel. Dry mouthfeel, lean, delicate blend of malt and zesty hops, clean, with some salt in the finish.
Nice.

Can - Dank and some citrus peel. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nice citrus, touch of peel and a dry finish.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma is along the same lines, with cereal grains, citrus hops, and some floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp citrus hops, crisp crackery malt, and cereal grains. Crisp and nicely biting. Solid.

Can. Slight haze, blonde. No head. On the nose, Earthy dank hop aroma, and it's got a nice pale malt character. It's definitely dry, lots of dank hops, but this lack of malt character, and there's a bit of fruitiness, and that creates nice nuance. The dryness isn't ideal for me, but they've done a good job trying to make it work.

16 oz can. Aroma is biscuity, earthy, citrus, tropical fruit salad, peppery, bordering on damp nasty socks. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head with great retention. Taste is lightly bitter, moderately sweet, a tad dry, but by no means drier than any other kind of IPA. Not sure why this is “brut,” but it tastes good.
