On tap. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of dry yeast and vinous barrel. Flavors follow same with additional cheese rind and dull fruit.

Draught at Dageraad, Burnaby
Hazy golden colour. Mild but nice aroma, sour, vinous. Lean and dry, fizzy mouthfeel, light malt base, very good wine barrel character, with a bit of funk and very light cheesy yeast; the light acidity is more evident in the finish.
Very good.

Hazy light tan, bubbly head, tart but a bit woody, and then it's dunno, slight off note. Comes up a bit off.

On tap at Farmhouse Fest 2018, pours a cloud golden with a small white head. Aroma smells like farts, with sulphur, and some funk. Flavour is a little less farty, with some oak, sulphur and woody. There is something not right here.

Bottle. Batch 2. Amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and light spice aroma with light citrus. Tropical fruit and yeast flavor with light spice and light tartness. Medium bodied. Tart and tropical fruit lingers with light yeast.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a light gold color. Somewhat hazy. Nice poofy white head, fizzles off fairly quickly. The aroma is light tart, lightly funk. Fairly cheesy. Balanced sour flavor. There’s a butteriness to the beer that I’ve felt in the other two bottles as well, but without fruit in this one, it takes a larger role. It’s not a butter popcorn thing but a wine-ish butter flavor with almost a tropical fruit flavor to it. I’m not sure if it’s from wood or just a strange way the bugs are showing themselves. Pineapple, lemon, kinda mild banana-ish note, grass, a little pepper. Nice but mild fresh grain flavor. Taste is mildly to moderately tart. Fairly dry particularly in the finish. Light bitterness. Easy to drink. Light feel, a little slickness. It’s an interesting beer. A lot of these tart saisons come out kinda boring or at least very similar to others, but this one has some unique qualities. There’s a round fruity sweetness in the taste that keeps it from that washed out territory. It has its own character.
