Can from the lcbo. Light orange pour, medium white head. Very grassy, sharp cereals. Clean and crisp, medium bitter. Decent.

Can: Poured a clear golden color beer with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light residual sugar notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes with a clean finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed for style.

Can from the LCBO. Pat of the Across the Nation collaboration pack (2018, East). Clear medium gold with a one finger white head that fades quickly to a sheet. Nose is cereal grains, yeast, grass, and some soap. Light+ sweet caramel with a light+ grassy bitterness. Mouth is medium- with soft carbonation and a sticky finish. 7/3/6-/3-/12

Part of their Across the Nation Collaboration - Back East (2018). Pours a clean golden colour with an amber hue. The head is off-white, foamy, not lasting too long and with just a soapy ring left. Cereal grain aromas with bread notes with the yeast and all. Quite sweet in the nose as well, almost fruity. The taste shows the cereal grains again, but not as sweet and with a tad of grassiness. Hints of dryness in the finish. Not one to drink many of these, but if you like a slightly hoppier Marzen, this might be for you.

A rather "meh" white foam and yellow-orange body, aroma of rotting leaves and stinky socks. The flavour is lager with some aromatic hop hints. Medium finish, some oiliness. All in Al (I've been watching Married With Children) it's not a bad drinker but not too interesting. At least it gets the lager things right, but otherwise just okay. So was Peggy actually hot? I could never tell.

Mooch tasting, can
Deep blond colour, clean. Strong malt notes in aroma and flavour, unfortunately the kind that has strong biscuit and honey component, grains, hay, barn mice; then you combine this with some sweetness and very low bitterness, no hop character, and you end up having something drinkable but rather cloying.

Can - Nice grains. Light gold with a small white head. Honey and some grains with a light bitterness.

341mL can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out cereal grains and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with cereal grains, toasted malt, and some light spiciness. Clean and drinkable, but pretty pointless.

Light golden colour. No head. On the nose, with a mellow malt note, some biscuity stuff. It's ok, wouldn't say a marzen but more like a modern Oktoberfest, maybe? If I'm being really super positive.

Deep gold, white head.Light pleasant malt nose. Slightly fatty malt profile, very light bitterness in finish
