Bottle. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates completely. Aroma has bitter coffee and dark grains with a hint of maple and roasted malt supporting. Flavor has a bit more maple combining with the coffee and notes of roast, dark grains and bourbon supporting.

Bottle from Andrewje41, thanks: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is loads of wood and whiskey, with some hints of coffee. Taste is very heavy whiskey and wood. Booze is also pretty hefty. The stout elements became overshadowed by the barrel.

12 oz bottle. Pours black with a light tan head. Aromas of chocolate breakfast cereal, dark fruit, sour bourbon and roasted malts. Flavor of sweet earthy coffee, dark nougat, light bourbon and chalky roasted malts. Tasty

Tasting at Oakes' Manor
Dark brown colour, almost black. Coffee aroma, fruity coffee. Full bodied, sweet, malt flavor, deep, some fudge, but that's the strong bourbon, indeed a bit boozy too.
Great.

Bottle - Big boozy barrel notes, vanilla and cocoa. Jet brown with a small beige head. Lots of woody notes and a bit of bitter chocolate. A bit over the top with wood.

Dark brown. Not much head. This has a mellow vanilla, soft dark sugar notes. Soft, bourbon notes, vanilla, and a little bit of sugary date notes. Full bodied, complex decadent flavours, what's not to like.

12 oz bottle poured at Max Hotel. Jet black pour, with a loose bubble head. Maple syrup, bourbon, pancake aroma. Flavor is rich with syrup, coffee, dark chocolate. Thick body. Pleasant and smooth bourbon that blends nicely with the chocolate and coffee notes. Quite a delicious unique brew here. Flavors all work nicely together. Very good stuff.

12 oz. bottle, courtesy of andrewje41 (thanks Andrew!), pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is decadent, with lots of bourbon barrels upfront, followed by lots of coffee, and vanilla. Flavour is very well-rounded, with lots of bourbon barrels, vanilla, and coffee. Light-to-medium sweetness, with a fantastic bourbon character. Excellent stuff.
