Barrel Aged Barley Wine features Horton Ridge malt as the majority of the grist which adds spice and a little more body, and works well with the spirit and barrel character. The beer was aged in freshly-emptied Single Malt barrels from Cape Breton's Glenora Distillery, picking up plenty of complexity during the process. This giant beer is well-balanced and ready to drink now, or will age gracefully for a new experience!

650 ml bottle, thanks to Adamchandler. Toffee, raisins, brown sugar aroma. The flavor has mild levels of dark fruits covered in sugar. English toffee, figs, with a slight bitterness still on the finish. I can’t find any barrel anyplace, nowhere.

660ML split 3 ways. hazy dark red, no head. has a copper penny home-brew like aroma. a little vanilla. lots of metallic tastes, still some citrus like hops in here, copper, metal, pennies, orange citrus, a little bit of wood. IT's alright

BA BW from Colchester County? Will wonders never cease. Medium amber and it has some haze. There is not much head. Sweet, with a moderate bitterness. Light caramel, with a toffee note. Nice balance. Tasty.

Bottle - Sweet Caramel and light woody barrel notes. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Sweet caramel and light barrel with a bitter finish. A bit thin and not a lot of pleasant balance. Could maybe use some age.
