Inspired by West Coast IPAs, but brewed with Michigan style. The Crooked Tree is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as "grapefruit" our hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry.

Solid IPA, grapefruit-orange sweetness meshing with a mild caramel malt base. Piney and resinous on the fade with a bracing, resilient bitterness. Lovely.

On tap at Beertemple, Amsterdam.Hazy orange pour with an off-white head. Notes of citrus and orange hops, caramelised malts, generic hop bitterness. A decent IPA, quite drinkable.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Amber in colour, with a decent, white, head. Plenty of grassy hops, tangerine fruit, slightly bready malts, before a dry, hoppy finish. Good.

Kicsi, úgy másfél perc alatt elolvadó hab, félbarna szín. Enyhe, fűszeres, citrusos illat. Citrusos, déligyümölcsös, komlós ízvilág, hajszálnyi karamellel, hosszú, közepesen kesernyés lecsengéssel. Selymesen szénsavas, közepesen testes. Enyhén száraz, jól összerakott IPA.

Bottle shared. Thanks Gregg! Light flavors on the nose, caramel, maybe some faint pine. Clean and well-balanced. Very malty with a touch of citrus on the palate. Some light cocoa towards the end. Nice old school IPA.

Pours hazy amber, not much foam. Aroma is sweetish, malty base with a decent hop kick. This is highly drinkable, malty IPA. Lingering dry bitterness in the finish. Stuff you drink by the pints.

Medium dark amber color. The nose is fairly muted with some managoes and citrus notes. Medium body. Modest bitterness, but actually not that interesting.
