Inspired by West Coast IPAs, but brewed with Michigan style. The Crooked Tree is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as "grapefruit" our hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry.

330 ml bottle from Brewdog online store. Orange amber colour, off white foam head and aroma of tropical fruits & citrusy hop resins. Taste is malty caramel with peach, citrus, spice, pine, woody hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry woody dusty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Beautiful pour, lots of floaties in this unfiltered beer. Cloudy, thick amber body capped by a nice creamy off white head. Lots of sediment in the bottle, wish I noted the "unfiltered" sooner so I could have saved a bit at the bottom for a final swirl. Still squarely in the East Coast IPA family, mildly bitter, but also fairly malty. Tastes, great, looks great, finishes well.

Bottle, 0.355l. Hazy deep amber color with thin creamy off-white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of peach, pineapple, passion fruit, raspberry, caramel and pungent pine. Taste starts with light sweet but rich malt, follows refreshing fruity and resinous with crisp and spicy mouthfeel with bitter finish. Medium to full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Long hoppy aftertaste made me crooked...

Orange color with big white head. Smells promising. Grapefruity, earthy, bitter, dry. The residual sweetness is not really there, but it still feels good. Nice carbonation. Great.

Poured into a SA Perfect Pint showing a very deep brown with a finger of white foam. There’s quite a lot of yeast inside the beer. The nose shows pineapple, pine, and hints of cannabis. The palate is full bodied with light carbonation. The first impression shows a burst of refreshing citrus flavors such as grapefruit and lemon zest. The finish shows a slight IPA bitterness. The citrus flavors on this beer really stand out and makes for a really nice IPA.

0,355L bottle (from Koht, Tallinn), 6.5% ABV, no BB. Pours hazy amber with beige head. The small head stays. Aroma is pine, citrus, some grass, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, herbal, grass, pine. Finish is dry bitter with some sweetness. Overall: good brew, but would like to try fresher version.
