We got together with our friends from @tapandbarrel a few weeks ago and brewed something magical, this Milkshake IPA is packed full of creamsicle goodness! Over 1000lbs of Orange Purée and 8L of Vanilla went into this beer along with a ton of Citra and Mandarina hops. This beer is all orange upfront followed by bright citrus and passionfruit aromatics from the hops and subtle vanilla lingering in the end. If you're a fan of milkshake IPAs, you'll have to get your hands on this one!

Medium gold body with just a bit of foam, smells like soft lager and nothing else. Taste is of darker peppery grains with a medium mouthfeel. Nice in fact, a different grain character than you normally get.

On tap at Twin Sails, pours an opaque cloudy peachy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light lactose, with a bit of orange, and subdued citrus hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with light lactose and subdued citrus hops. The whole flavour profile is rather muted, so it doesn't come across quite as dialed in as it could. Okay.

Opaque, yellow, not much, has a nice fruity nose. Sweet and juicy, some citrus tartness and some yeast in there as well. Not much malt character and only a little bit of bitterness.

2018-07-04, draught at the brewery, 6-3-7-3-14=33
Cloudy blond colour with barely any head. It seems a bit cleaner, with more zesty orange and a hint of tropical fruit, and possibly a bit more beer-y than when I tried it the first time.
2018-04-28, draught at the brewery without Farees, 6-3-7-3-13=32
Murky blond colour. Strong orange juice character, differently from other similar beers this one doesn't have the bitterness from the orange peel; light residual sweetness, no noticeable vanilla or lactose.
Drinkable, but very little beer character here.

Taster at the brewery with Farees. Pours a dirty murky golden with a white head. Aroma is very fruity and citrusy. Similar taste with lots of citrusy notes and fruity hoppy bitterness. Not really much of lacto in this. Good one.
