Crackers are out and pilsners are in. But our pils isn’t your ordinary pils. Ours takes the best of German and Czech styles and blends together a brew worthy of any talking bird. Floral and spicy. Crisp and refreshing. Polly definitely wants this Pilsner.

Can from the lcbo. Clear yellow pour, big white head. Grassy, good pale malts, some light chalk, and wet paper. Good carb, good mouth feel. Slightly herbal, light bitterness, more grass. Decent.

On tap at Hard Rock 42 in Sudbury.
NIce golden pour with an ample head. Nice aroma of piney hops, and some quite decent grains, and cereals.
The mouthfeel is perfect, and the carb is spot on. The finish was a pleasant bitter, and a nice cereal aftertaste. a very decent pils.

473 ml can. It pours greenish-to-lemon yellow, thick big white head. Aroma is super low: porridge, bread, grass, lemon. Taste is fresh, full-bodied, nice carb. Low bitterness, short-lived. So-so.

Can - Light grains and spicy hop notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light sweet dark sugar, touch of spicy hops. Nose and appearance are nice, but taste is sweet and not very crisp.

This Pils poured a cloudy medium yellow colour with a rocky, white head. Little but nice lacing. Scents include corn, old books and malts. First swig was smooth and a little watery with nice hop flavours and always that flavour of corn. Finish is mildly bitter with malts lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clean golden colour with a white frothy cap, good retention leaving lots of dirty lacing. Grainy malt aromas with some honey notes, light grass and some fruitiness. The taste has this fruit again over the cereal malts and pils hops. Just a tad thick to be an easy-drinking Euro pilsner, but quite nice overall. Will have to try real cold at a gathering.

Had this one at The Works in Ottawa before a Deep Purple show (2nd Canadian pils of the night - the other being the Garrison). Typical golden brew with a decent white cap and good lace. Nice mild hoppy aromas with cereal grains. Crisp mouthfeel with a malty taste and some bitterness from the hop. Was quite decent with The Works huge burgers. An easy-going pilsener.
