This dark and tart Gose uses our award winnning Prophets & Nomads as the base. The pour is a unique, dark, cloudy colour and provides a refreshing crispness and twang. The berries add a surprising little punch of sour on your first sip with low hop bitterness. Coriander and Himalayan salt adds spice and a touch of sharpness to the beer to finish.

Canned. Deep ruby violet pour. Sour, lots of berries. Can't say I enjoy this style a ton.

Can from the brewery. Pours a deep purple, like beet root purple with a medium pink head. Aroma is tart berries and light lemon, really delicate and pleasant. Mouth feel is full, slightly creamy, and the carb is soft. The finish is tart, and fruity. Zesty and subtly sweet. The base gose gets lost, not much as far as savouriness, just loads of berry tartness. Nice patio beer.

473ml can from Battle of Bull, Cheras, Selangor, Malaysia. Poured a murky reddish purple colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is big blackberries. The flavour is moderate sour, with a light, crisp, tart, red berry fruit palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice to taste but drinking a whole can isn’t easy.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Fruity nose. Hazy deep purple colour, fair frothy pink head, dissipating quickly, thin moussy layer with yeast circles remains, light lacing. Aroma light wheat malt, dark fruit, berries of all sorts, lemon, yoghurt. Juicy sweet and sour taste, dark fruits, some lemon, pinch of salt, light yoghurt, malty notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, tart, lemon, dark fruit, very nice.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy rad with moderate pink head. Aromas of earthy berries, dull wheat and chalk. Flavors of vegetal dark berries, coriander and salty wet wheat crackers. Slightly tart in the finish. Odd.

The aromas are berries, citrus, bakery. Flavors are similar to nose, tart and on the dry side with a little fruit sweetness in the background. Drinkable but not too special. I wouldn't want another.
