Pours ruby red with a purple-white head. Aroma is cherry, pits and all, wood, match heads. Taste is highly sour (8/10) with cherry and woody flavors. Yum.

An Oxford tasting
Georgetown Tom Flanders, b, 5.7%, Ferris Hazy red-amber color. Strong aroma of wine barrels, traces of butter (not unheard of, with the barrels). Smooth mouthfeel, solid malt base, moderately sour and sweet, wine barrel, and mild astringency in the end.
Very nice.

I paired the Flanders red with my chicken curry. Tom Flanders 5.7% Tom Flanders 5.7% Clear orange-amber in color with virtually no head and a oaky acidic tart berry aroma - great. Medium to light bodied and smooth, I’d say you taste the oak and maybe even some bourbon notes before the tart berry acidic old bruin kicks in. Really tasty. Paired with a curry it cut down the spiciness and the beers fruit notes were accentuated into sweet red juicy berries rather than tart. Super drinkable and a great pairing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Soured cherry and light funk. Cloudy gold with a decent beige head. Light cherry and wood, but no complexity. Surprisingly bland but really nothing bad.

Bottle. Reddish-brown. On the nose, it's a bit woody, with a nice vinous barrel note, and some acid. There's nice acids in here, a lot of bugs but none making a definitive character. It's a touch on the thin side. Not as complex as you'd like. So decent, but not particularly refined, example.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is loaded with all sorts of wild bacteria, light red wine barrel character, some wood and alittle balsamic. Flavour is mostly hijacked by the wild yeast, with light red wine barrel character, light tannins, and a hint of balsamic acetic notes. Not overly complex or cohesive, but it's pleasant.
