2018 edition at the brewery. Smells of citrusy funk with sour wood, has no foam and a muddy coppery red body. Flavour is good sour funk, soft wood, with citrus fruit notes. Crisp mouthfeel. Nice and reasonably well executed.

Draft - Dark balsamic and light soy. Jet brown with a small white head. Soured almost spiced with molasses and woody tones. Dark and balanced, but like no Kriek I have ever had.

Dark brown, thin head. Earthy, leathery, and a little bit tart. Sweet tart. Fun stuff...first NA brewery to make pseudo lambic way way before it was cool. Nostalgia plus awesome = extra awesome

I mean, damn- this was tart! Medium purple color. Cherry vinegar with some funky fruit, too. Super sharp sour through and through. Good in a small dose, would get too sour for me for a whole glass.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out balsamic vinegar and tart cherries. Flavour is intense, with lots of bright tart cherries, balsamic vinegar and a touch of funk. Not authentic by any means, but it's a wonderful tart and complex cherry beer. Impressive.

At the source: pours purple with purplish head. Aroma is cherry and vinegar. Taste is sweet cherry, sour with yeasty finish. pretty solid.
