Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in Denver. Pours clear copper-brown with a fizzy, light khaki head that settles into a cream. Lovely beer overall, nice lightly tart and leathery berries, a little earth, just a hint of vinegar, lightly tangy toasted wood, plum, cherry. Medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more aged berries, soft alcohol warmth, low acidity, prunes, salt, citric bite. Well layered and really drinkable.

Bottle from Tienda De la cerveza (RIP!). Vintage 2016 bottle Had on my last day in. Madrid. Nose is plum, sugar, blueberry muffins, red apples. Palate is heavily carbonated, plum, sugar, strawberry, apple and pear finish. Quite nice, but might have been better fresh

Bottle at Matt's
Brown color. The aroma is sour and quite complex, the mouthfeel is a bit too dry, the flavor sour and a bit earthy, with mild acetic presence and lemony astringent final.
Not bad, but uncoordinated elements.

375 ml bottle. Pours a turbid brown with moderate head that settles quickly, Funky horse blanket and sour dark fruit aromas. Flavors of rich dark, jammy and sour fruit, boozy oak, and sweet malts. Wow.

375ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a murky copper with a tan head. Aroma is very fruity with some barrel notes. Similar taste with plum notes. Good.

375mL bottle, pours an opaque deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out massive whiskey barrels, along with acidic plums, and booze. Flavour is along the same lines, with massive boozy whiskey barrels that combine with the tart plums to create an acidic character. Not convinced that the sourness and acidity go well with the whiskey barrels, but it's nicely done for what it is.

Bottle - Dark Soured malts, plum and oak. Dark Amber with a small beige head. Sour and acidic dark plum and malts. A bit extreme but nice.
