The name says it all. A hopped-up and ferociously hazy New England-Style IPA, Wicked Awesome is a tropical juice-bomb you’ll definitely want to sink your teeth into.

Can: Poured a medium hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with nice floral undertones. Taste is a good mix of citrusy hops notes with some nice floral undertones. Body is slightly below average with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA but doesn’t have that explosion of tropical flavours I was expecting.

473ml can. Sweetish, fruity and slightly juicy with some citrus and pine. Okay, not super fresh.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin white. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, pleasant and smooth. On tap at Brother's Beer Bistro.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy pale orange under a small fast fading white head. Nose is citrus and tropical fruit with some light pine and very light bread. Flavour is not quite as bright as the nose, but there is a big bitterness of orange peel, pineapple, grapefruit.melon and some passion fruit. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and with a lingering bitter finish. Mmmmm. 8+/3+/7+/4/16

After having Mystery Beer B which was the session IPA, this seems pretty similar, but a normal stronger IPA. Hazy golden colour with particles, a longer lasting head, fluffy with loads of foamy lacing. Same citrus aromas with oranges, lemons, limes, pineapples and tropical fruits. Of course, the hops as well. The taste is juicy as well, but not Vermont-style. Lots of orange and grapefruit juices. Not too crazy bitter. Well-balanced brew for the style.

Can - Mandarin and citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Mandarin and sweet citrus with a bitter citrus peel. Solid.
