A traditional German style Hefeweizen with Canadian pilsner & brewed with malted wheat. A special German wheat beer strain adds a fantastic bouquet aroma & flavours of banana & clove. Lightly hopped with German Hallertau & finished with sweet orange peel. A complex recipe for simple pleasure. Best enjoyed in a glass.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy gold with white head. Clove, mild banana, and a fair bit of floral notes that do come off as quite soapy. Didn’t bother finishing the taster...

Nice big foamy head sits atop a heavily carbonated clear golden body. The aroma is fresh oranges, sweet lemon. Flavour is middling wheat grain, some fruity sweetness. Medium on the mouth. Not nearly as tasty as it smells.

On tap. Pours a cloudy amber with light head. Aromas of dry earth yeast and soft malts. Flavors follow same with lemon wax and an odd phenol.

Cloudy golden color. Smell of cleaning product and bleach, kind of disturbing. Soapy mouthfeel, some orange peel doesn’t manage to cover the cleaning product flavor; astringent final with vegetable bitterness. Not a single thing of a German Hefeweizen. Deeply unpleasant.

Cloudy, medium tan. The head dissipates quite quickly. Big aroma is has floral elements, vague berryrishness, but it’s a fair bit of yeasty assertiveness on the palate. The orange peel, while having nothing whatsoever to do with the style, seems to round out some of the harsher yeast elements.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of floral notes, orange peel and light clove. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of floral notes, orange peel, a little banana and clove. Quite pleasant, with a pungently floral and orange peel finish. A bit too soapy, but it's alright.
